Local 804 and all Teamsters stand with the family of George Floyd. 

We stand together in denouncing institutional racism and discrimination in any form. We stand together in insisting that police brutality stop and the officers in question be brought to justice. 

One of the basic tenets we insist on and practice as a union is dignity and respect. That goes for both the workplace and in daily life.

During the last few months we have gone through a global pandemic, a recession and now social unrest throughout our country.

We stand in solidarity with people of all communities who are speaking out against injustice. 

It is the right of all citizens to protest, demonstrate and strike peacefully. We do not condone looting and acts of violence in any form.
