The Ed Dougherty Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to high school seniors who are the son or daughter of an active, retired, disabled or deceased Local 804 member.

This year, we are proud to announce a new opportunity for the talented children & grandchildren of active and retired 804 Teamsters:

Beginning next year, we will be offering a trade school scholarship in addition to our long-standing academic scholarships.

If you are interested in either scholarship opportunity, download the application here.

DOWNLOAD THE APPLICATION

Applicants should submit the application no later than March 17, 2023. Applicants also must submit an official copy of their High School Transcript and SAT/ACT results by March 17, 2023.

For the trade school scholarship, complete the form and mark an “x” through the #3 and #4 in the application section and return it before the deadline.

The Scholarship Fund was established to honor Ed “Doc” Dougherty, a Local 804 Executive Board member. In 1974, Doc Dougherty was killed when he was run over on a picket line during an 87-day strike against UPS.

We are proud to support the children & grandchildren of 804 members through this scholarship.
