Teamsters and allies from across New York City will rally with Teamsters President Sean O’Brien to support the Delivery Protection Act on Monday, August 10 at 1pm at Teamsters Local 282 at 2500 Marcus Ave in Lake Success.

The bill, introduced by NYC Councilmember Tiffany Caban, would require Amazon to abandon its third-party contractor model, a practice that drags down wages and standards for all logistics workers.

The bill would require delivery companies from Amazon to UPS Roadie to directly hire their workforce.
