Local 804 members held a rally at UPS in Brooklyn today as part of national day of action to support Black Lives Matter and to speak out on racism and harassment in the workplace.

Management has been violating the contract on a daily basis----denying OPHS, violating seniority, stonewalling grievances. They seem to want a reaction and they are going to get one all week long.

At Foster Avenue, supervisors have made racist comments and tried to pit Teamster against Teamster along racial lines. We won’t have it.

“We will fight for social justice and anti-racism on the shop floor and in the community. That’s what it means to be union,” said Local 804 President Vinnie Perrone.
