To celebrate May Day, Local 804 is joining a rally organized by the Central Labor Council. Local 804 members also marched on Amazon offices with labor and community allies to protest the harm the company causes workers and our communities. 

On May 4, 1886 police in Chicago violently charged a peaceful demonstration in Haymarket Square by workers calling for the eight hour day. Ever since, workers around the world have celebrated May 1st as International Workers Day.

Teamsters across the country are joining May Day actions to demand an economy that puts workers first, not billionaires. One union! One goal!
