Union-busting attorney Crystal Carey has been nominated to serve as NLRB General Counsel.

"Crystal Carey is a bad choice for the National Labor Relations Board," said Teamsters General President Sean O'Brien. "Carey has spent her entire professional career backing Big Business to the detriment of working people. On behalf of her corrupt corporate clients, she wants to decimate labor unions and destroy American families -- and she has no place serving as the NLRB General Counsel."

Carey is a partner at Morgan Lewis, the most notorious union-busting law firm in the country. She advises corporations on how to defeat union organizing drives.

Carey has advocated in support of captive audience meetings, which the current NLRB has ruled illegal and advised corporations like Amazon on how to avoid unions by abusing “independent contractor” and “joint employer” schemes.

Carey has even helped employers campaign for the NLRB to be declared unconstitutional.
